A female Expendables on the way

Word has it that a female Expendables is also in the works now.  The producer of the new Dredd film, Adi Shankar, has expressed interest in getting the movie underway.

What follows are some actresses that I think should well be in the film.

Angelina Jolie. I know she's one some bad films, but Lara Croft has got to be in this.


Mila Jovovich has been the ass kicking face of the Resident Evil movies for a while now, proving she's damn good in action movies.


Sigourney Weaver would fit nicely into the film as the equivalent of Bruce Willis' government agent.


It'd be great to see Summer Glau (Firefly's River Tam) back kicking everyone's ass.


Lucy Lawless (Xena warrior princess) would add a good bit of older action merit.


Often known for action roles, Zoe Saldana would be another good bet.
